On arrival in Delhi you will be met by your tour escort and transferred to the hotel and assisted with check in. Delhi, India's capital, is a colourful, busy, chaotic city packed with museums, art galleries, historic sites, shops and bazaars. It would take weeks to discover all that is Delhi.

Drive to Sikar and your royal heritage retreat in the countryside. As you wander the grounds, time seems to slow down. The ruins of the Badal Mahal Palace are the perfect place to enjoy a quiet lunch whilst the farming area of the house is ideal for the nature lover. Close by is a step well, or baori, a uniquely North Indian phenomenon. Take a walk around the local village to see potters (not during monsoon) and Rajasthani men and women making colourful bangles out of lac (resin).This evening enjoy a cultural show and farewell barbecue dinner.

After breakfast we have the opportunity to visit a nearby village and meet the village headman. We then continue on 4 hours to Bikaner, en route visiting Nawalgarh, where the regions famous frescoes can be seen. Lying in the north of Rajasthan, the area around Bikaner is dotted with many sand dunes, while Bikaner itself, having been once heavily fortified, has a medieval splendour. In the afternoon we take a short tour, including a visit to a camel-breeding farm, the only one in Asia.

In the morning after breakfast we drive to Bikaner. Bikaner city is bolstered by imposing walls and has a 16th century fort housing old palaces, temples and a mosque. Founded by Rao Bika, the fort is distinguished by its long range of 37 pavilions, a line of balconies and windows of varying designs. An enormous arched doorway leads to the Jaramal Temple. The royal chapel is Har Mandir where royal weddings and births were once celebrated. This sprawling desert town has a fort with some of the finest interiors in India, and a bustling old walled city encompassing darkred sandstone havelis and exquisitely painted Jain temples. The area is famous for the intricate rich gold painting work by Muslim Usta artisans. On arrival in Bikaner we check in our hotel. In the afternoon we tour Bikaner by visiting the Junagadh fort, constructed between 1588 and 1593 by Raja Rai Singh - A general in the army of the Mughal emperor, Akbar. Then Lalgarh palace, this red stone palace was built by Maharaja Ganga Singh (1881-1942) in memory of his father Maharaja Lal Singh. It is an imposing building, with overhanging balconies and delicate latticework. Later we visit camel breeding farm set within the sand Dunes, the only farm of its kind in whole of Asia

Breakfast at the hotel before proceeding to 6 hours to Jaisalmer. Rising from the heart of the Thar Desert is the city of Jaisalmer. Constructed with luminous yellow sandstone, the fort stands with awesome splendour, dominating the amber-hued city. On reaching Jaisalmer transfer to hotel and remainder of the day free.

After a leisurely breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing tour of the city. Visit Jaisalmer fort, where people live and commerce takes place within the fort walls. Later in the afternoon drive 1 hour to Khuri, where you have the option (included in the price) of a short camel trek to reach the huge sand dunes, a beautiful spot from which to watch the sunset over the dunes. Later in the evening enjoy a dance performance, along with dinner at Khuri Village.

This morning we continue our journey through the Thar desert with a 6 hour drive to Jodhpur. The massive 15th century Mehrangarh Fort looms over Jodhpur, soaring 125 meters above the plains. The city is encompassed by a high wall, 10 kms long, with 8 gates and innumerable bastions. Later in the afternoon we visit the fort with an expert local guide.

The day is yours to lounge, relax and visit the spa or simply enjoy some wonderful cuisine available at the property. If you wish to see a bit more of the destination,ypu may start with formidable hilltop Mehrangarh Fort. A series of gates named Jayapol, Fatepol, Lahapol etc. lead into the Fort. Visit the palaces located inside the fort - Moti Mahal or Pearl Palace, Sukh Mahal or Pleasure Palace and the Phool Mahal or Flower Palace. Continue the tour to visit the Jaswant Thada, a marble cenotaph built in 1899 as a memorial to Maharaja Jaswant Singh II. Spend theday at leisure. Overnight in Jodhpur.

Breakfast at the hotel. Later check out of the hotel, you will be transferred to the airport to board your flight back home with sweet memories of the trip Airport check in time is 03 hours prior to the departure time of the international flight.
